Melanie Hardy, MS, MS, CGC

Melanie Hardy is a Certified Genetic Counselor serving as the Director of Research and Advocacy for jscreen. She has been with jscreen since 2015. She is also an Adjunct Faculty Instructor with the Emory University Genetic Counseling Training Program, where she teaches and mentors students. She is active within the American Board of Genetic Counseling, serving as the 2026 President of the Board of Directors. She holds a master’s degree in genetic counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a master’s degree in biology from Georgia Southern University.
