Danielle Gabriel

Danielle Gabriel is a health and physical education teacher, coach, former Division I athlete, and breast cancer survivor. Danielle is also the founder of Fighting Under 40, an organization focused on health education, self-advocacy, and empowering young women to better understand their bodies and their risk. After being diagnosed with breast cancer at 26 and learning she carries a BRCA2 mutation, Danielle turned her experience into advocacy. Today, she combines her background in education with her personal experience as a young survivor to help start conversations about family history and genetics, and to encourage self-advocacy among young women.
